Default 91 S4 Parts Car

Anyone interested in a parts car? This 130k+ running S4 is available for $8,500 OBO from a gentleman in Tampa, FL area.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/img_po...&isStock=false

A fellow Rennlister in the area went to look at it and it has a poor-quality, peeling paint job, a filthy interior and a variety of other signs of neglect. The seller is in financial straits and would probably accept most any offer to quickly raise cash.

Parts car for $8500 is not in very bad financial straits yet. Though if the cars drives and runs well, it is probably worth that... Engine at $2kish, trans at $1kish maybe $1500 if PSD...you would STILL have to sell a whole bunch of other stuff for good money to make your money back on that though!

It is a very nice car and if I didn't have 6 g of parts on the way I think I would sell mine and buy this one.

I'm starting to think one of the most rare and valuable things are the cars in nicer factory colors.

I have a nice wing for that car if someone here buys it and wants to put an S4 wing back on it. The one I have is an '87 folding wing, but it would certainly look period correct.

Looks like my '87 when I bought it. a little stinkbug in the front. Otherwise, man that is a nice clean interior.

Appearances can be (are!) deceiving ... take a look at the peeling re-paint and filthy interior ... could it be cleaned up and made to look nice again? Probably

Not seeing filthy. Maybe not as nice as it looks at first, but still don't see a parts car. By a lot.
