Chris, great pix! And Jim I totally agree- got to organize the next one - the route I gave in my previous post was fantastic, all of you would have loved it. Would be a great early spring drive...

What a Fantastic Day...
As you have already read, we got a a real 'spur of the moment' Blue Ridge Parkway Fun Run going in just a day or so...
We all met at 9am at the Mile Marker 1 of the BRP
Just a mere 2 hours down to Waynesboro from No. VA. thru Charlottesville.
80 + miles with lots of stops along the overlooks down to the very busy
lakeside rest stop and restaurant ...sit down buffet...Thanks Phyllis...!
80 plus miles back with up to I-64 with great runs and views.....we did not even go that fast...most of the time....
Only one had to drop out ...better safe than sorry....Good Luck with it, Charles..
Nice to meet you..we will totally do this again.
Thanks Martin and next time we will drive your itinerary .
Wish we had a little more time to plan, but the weather prolly will not be that nice again on a Sunday in the Fall for another year..and not at all crowded.
Remember to dig all the leaves out from in front of the radiator..!

The pics really came out great....the more I look at the second one,
the more it looks like an album cover...!
The individual stances...seeing the wheels in the background between the guys...
All that with a crappy digital camera..it's all in the subject and composition..
What do we call the group on this album cover...? BRP....?

Pretty much all Jim's ex-equipment on this one, Bill.
Though, come to think of it, you supplied the two taillight lenses and two used 10w taillights on that grey Euro car. They were installed 6 hours prior to wheels-up!
