It's a multi step process which really does take at least 20 hours to complete. Meguiars 105 is a very strong compound and care should be taken when using it, even with a dual action polisher it can easily burn through edges.

If you're going to buy these items I would suggest buying at least three sets of the cutting pads, I usually burn through two for each car I work on.
Ok thanks, never tried to polish with a buffer and I'm kind of hesitant becuase I fear I'll screw it up, but I'll be doing some research.

If your paint looks ok and you don't need major correction I would suggest substituting M105 with Meguiars #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish. It's not as strong and the abrasives diminish as you polish so it doesn't cut through paint very quickly. You can finish with M205

Andrew I failed to mention, my wax of choice is Pinnacle Souveran Carnauba. Two thin coats.

The most important part of waxing..is to use the right fabric applicator, with the appropriate cushioned material behind it..so that the wax is applied firmly, but that the cushion also gives just enough to ensure that equal pressure is applied around any curves..err..in the material being buffed.

I use this:

..and you can get the application fabric in matching colors as well.

Hey Greg.

Never heard of the wax you mention, is it a home made special?

Life is good, can't complain really. I'll give you a call to catch up.

Nice work Afshin! It's nice to see that car looking so good.

Wanna show the folks some pictures of the very unique interior?

Thanks Dave.

Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of the interior. Definitely very unique and cool Porsche script cloth centers.
