Default Supercharged Koenig in Japan

http://www.terra2imports.ca/import-j...7022930850.htm

Saw this on the Terra 2 Imports site. Never seen a S/C setup like this, has anyone here? Did Koenig offer it at one time?

There's a guy in Vegas (Bill) that has one just like it (don't know about the interior. Met him at SITM a few years back. Haven't seen him post here on RL lately.

That's the Albrex Supercharger setup for the 928 - been around quite a while.

I believe Koenig can still do 928 conversions, though it's not their primary focus anymore.

Cool, never seen this S/C before sparked my interest. How does it perform? I take it the black box on the passenger side cam cover is an oil separator for the crankcase venting? What is the large round item hooked to the boost tube by the strut tower brace?

Cool looking car. So aggresive looking. Auto...........bummer but the seats look real kozy! I wonder how much boost they had in that setup!

If this one sparks your interest then you must like the one that Carl Fausett posted

True hp in Albrex kit is under 400 so its nowhere near any current setup.

Already have something similar, mine is the equivalent of a Murf stage 1.

+1

I've only seen one with an intercooler and as far as I know they are all pre-Sharktuner too.

Stock they run around 5-6psi. They use a 9th injector triggered by a simple WOT switch. Pretty crude.

Friend of mine has one on a GT, Sharktuned and running around 8 psi. Runs larger injectors and deleted the 9th injector rubbish.

These kits were designed long, long ago. Some spares are still available from Albrex.

Yep mine was cheap used off a Rennlister, needed some creative re engineering but works very nicely now.

Murf's kits are complete right down to the zip ties. Just add elbow grease and beer!
