If the car in the original post is, as it says in the ad, "well maintained", is 189k okay for a daily driver? Also, for a well sorted car with 189k, is $6500 in the ball park of reasonable?

It might be interesting to know which "Porsche" mechanic they used, main one in that area I think is no longer in business.
I was of the understanding that he is/was the tech he was referencing. He has a very out of the norm name, so if anyone knows of a P-car mechanic with an odd name this is the guy.

It's been owned by this guy for 15 years and he has only put 50k miles on it. The TB/WP along with the other drive belts and all the rollers and I'm assuming tensioner were done 5k miles ago. But this was 5 years ago also. The AC evaporator and everything associated with that was replaced a year ago. There seems to be more, but the email was pretty brief.

I'm pretty sure that is about 100k more than the last 928 I used as my driver. I would think that as long as the car is maintained it should run just fine.

The price is reasonable in my eyes. Plus it's not a firm price.

I'm no stranger to wrenching on my vehicles, so the maintenance that may be required down the road is more than fine by me.

It does look like an auto, but from the picture it could almost be anything.

I'd prefer the car to be running when I got it also. Not looking for a project just to get the car running when I buy it.

Good looking out though. Thanks!
