None-the-less, the R&T photos (for June '77 articlle) were taken late february, early march. Those photos, show Pascha.
I propose that no other press got earlier photos than the France press release. It is possible the photos where you see plaid are earlier stock photos. It also possible that the car with plaid may not be Number Six. Though maybe it is. Not enough to make a call at this point.

I wish I know for sure... I just find it strange that there are photos of #6 and photos of plaid seats but no Pascha seats in those magazines. Then I saw another magazine that showed a b/w pic of an interior with plaid seats and Pascha door inserts... Ouch!

I do hope yours was always Pascha - it'll make for a nicer car when it's fully restored.

Wow, I think the last time I saw that pattern was in some PJ pants I threw out! Seriously, if you going to put that in something I'd recommend a picnic basket liner at best....

I beleive VW still uses simialr materials in some of its cars.
