I believe that the pricing is based on a pair of seats, which makes this very inexpensive. The Ebay ad, at least, is for a pair of seats.

Their pricing has been per pair so not sure it is any different for pricing stated above.

I stand corrected their price on e-bay is for 2 seats. Looking at Robert Budd's web site pictures his seat appear to have a very snug fit of course this may also be forth coming from experience as a seasoned installer.

For the price you got a great improvement on your seats and I bet your car looks a lot happier now.

Enjoy

I have finally finished the seat and have them back in the car. I will up load some more pic tomorrow. It took me about 12 hrs all told. Probably could do it a lot faster, but took my time to try to get them right.

Tim, can't wait to see them live and in person. Matt over at TPWS did the seats in my '81 and he indicated the same thing...to do them RIGHT is time consuming...especially the first time you try it! He swore he would never do another early style seat again! LOL!

Default How to attach the back and bottom

Hey,

I know it's an old post, but maybe worth a try....
I am redoing seats with a similar kit. I have a question on how you attached the back and bottoms of the kit to the cushion. The original is sewn in at the low spots between the cushions....

I think the kit needs to be glued at these spots, or did you use the hog rings????
If glueing, which glue did you use????
If hog rings, do you have any pictures or can you describe how you did it???

Any other tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maciej

Which kit are you using? Got a link to the supplier?

Tim's original thread link is no longer valid.

here is the link to their ebay site.

I bought front seat covers as well as bulk vinyl from them.

Default update

Update....

I got the kit from:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/220502311387...84.m1438.l2649

It's a link for 911, but he sells the kits for 928. The color I got was the "359 Cork". It takes about 2 to 3 weeks - I think they custom order, I also got some more extra material. They are vinyl. Got the back seats also, but no carpet on the back seat kit.

I am just in the process of removing old vinyl.....it is a pain, took off about 40 hog rings just back rest

The kit seems decent, but I am still waiting for any tips on how to attach back and bottom of seat to have good effect and remain durable......

I might opt to actually "stich in" some of these areas of the back rest....

I'm glad to see they offer leather front surface for an extra $250. That's about what I paid from leatherseats.com a few years ago when I redid my last 300ZX. They had the front leather surface with vynil sides and backs. I was very happy with the results. This kist looks very similar.

I'd like to see some more detailed pics.
