Darren, Definetly much lighter that the stock seats, but sorry that I did not weigh them before installing them. Also, they do fit nicely into the 928's. 77Tony

Slight modification is required, and sorry I did not take pics of the process. This is what I found in search-Note: This is going from a 997 into a 993, so what you do with the brackets is going to be a little different, so think it out before cutting any of the brackets. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...n-a-993-a.html 77Tony

The door cards were removed for paint, so took the opportunity restore them. Already installed the door pull reinforcements on the side armrests a few years back, so there are set. Lower-mid door cards were looking a little tattered, so applied some resin & fiberglass matting to strengthen them up a bit. Also cleaned and applied DeoxIT on all door speaker & crossover connections WIWIT. Next up was new carpet. Wanted to tie in the grey 997 sport seats and lasered pascha bits from Paul C, so went with a charcoal carpet kit from Rob Budd. T

DeoxIT is good stuff, use it on my home system connections and it makes a noticeable difference. Are those MB quartz in the doors? Looks like the same set I installed.

Looks really nice, especially the pasche. I second the idea of fiberglass for door panel repair. It works really well and also can fix the issue of worn/broken mounting holes.

Reinforced door cards are good to go. New color carpet matches up nicely with the light tones on the 997 sport seats and pascha pieces. T

Tony,

Please tell me how you installed those seats. I'd like to get some Boxster ones rather settling for a pair of ProCar Sportsman Pros from Jegs.com.

Mongo, If the color is right, heck of a deal here:

These should bolt right in. Wiring was very easy. T

Cashmere beige front and rear seats, carpet and black door panels with beige accent trim.

Bummer.
