Default Bilstein refurb service

Got a nice call Friday from Ramon at Bilstein's Cali location. They have my front shocks for refurbishment. Ramon called to let me know that both piston rods needed replaced ($10 each plus $45 to machine them to the correct spec). I had asked for both eye bushings to be replaced as part of the refurb. Ramon asked if I wanted to wait the 3-4 weeks MINIMUM for the new bushings to come from Germany as there are none in the US. He said they had to do quite a bit of digging and calling to Germany to determine the correct part numbers. Since I really don't want to be Shark-less for that long, and since the eye bushings were more of a WYAIT I opted to leave the old bushings in. I do plan to cal them back on Monday and get their part number for the bushings to ease ordering if I do need them in the future.
