Station here in OKC charges 75¢ for air, but the air station is digital. Just set it to the pressure you want, hook it to each tire, and wait for it to ding. I've checked it with my very very accurate 3" dial gauge and it is spot on.

Kinda spoiled by may Tavia 60# gauge. Tried others, keep coming back to it.

I've never had a problem with RDK. Put on 18" wheels, removed the RDK brain, installed the bridge, removed the sensors from the hubs. Job done.

I can tell when driving if one tyre is down or up a couple of PSI from it's neighbour on the other side and for sure can tell if a pair of front or rears are down 5PSI.

My warning would go off whenever a weather system come through. Removed the PDK and never had a problem. Downside is a red warning light on the dash, but it reminds me of what could happen
if the cops catch me. Mac

RDK =Reifen Druck Kontrolle
basically: Tire Pressure Monitoring

The RDK is sometimes just too sensitive. It is quite aq complex controller. Microprocessor operated. It has a neat feature to monitor the ABS sensors too and report the output of teh ABS sensors over the diagnostic bus. The RDK can do that. the ABS can not. so here's one more reason to hang on to that RDK and not bin or sell it. In my GTs it worsk perfectly good. i have a set of winter tires/rims and that one is also ok.... I call myself lucky

First bet is radio, next bet is int lighting. There are several troubleshooting threads on this. You'll need a ammeter on your batt to do a good job of it.

Tell me more about the radio Doc. That is my suspicion. Much messing with the radio and amp wiring by a previous owner. What should I check? I assume the amp should not be hot unless radio is on (I haven't checked it yet). I also assume the radio has constant 12v for the memory. I see a light through the cd slot when it is off (CD2). I also have a green wire behind the radio which I think relates to the alarm which is no longer functional on my car. Any suggestions appreciated.

This has likely been a long term problem with the car. It came to me with a battery tender mounted under the rear bumper cover, permanently connected to the battery. I removed it thinking it was for long term storage. My car will sit for a bit over a week and then dead battery.

Pull fuse 25, that serves the alarm. See if that helps. If not, then do fuse 21 which serves the radio. See what that does. The int lights are hard to explain over the internet. Do a search on interior lights or light issues, or something, and read up on that.

Doc, I have done the interior lights as advised here and they check out OK. I will try fuse 25, also 21. As I said, the radio circuit is a bit of a mess. The radio is powered directly from a hot terminal on the central panel, through a wire with an inline fuse.

Battery is about a year old. I bought this car from a dealer in CA last November. Got all the invoices from work they had done. They replaced the battery twice in a month, once just before shipping to me. I think they "solved" the problem of the dead battery by simply installing another one.
