Default Cam gear seems funny

Maybe just an optical illusion from the bolt. What do you think. Car runs like garbage.

the cam looks like it may be cracked and the bolt is holding on the pulley onto the cam see how the bolt is oscillating it is either bent remove it and roll on a smooth surface and/or the cam snout is busset

That's not right. You will need to quit running that and pull that cam gear off.

Bolt is slightly bent. When running, seems as if gear itself is not walking. Car runs rough under load. 84S US.

What dose the cam and bolt look like? the gear looks ok from here, .... Oh except in the last pic there is a sharp edge.... oh .. it must have been moving.

Was the bolt loose?

what does the timing belt tensioner look like? Is the tensioning bolt torque'd all the way in [such that there is maximum tension possible]? I don't believe an over-tensioned belt should bend a cam bolt like that... but you never know... Hopefully the cam isn't warped!

Once bolt was cracked loose, it had a lot of wobble as if threads in cam were bad or bolt was wrong. I dont have a pitch gauge so I will take it to work tomorrow to check.

Looks to me as though it's just the bolt. If you watch the second vid and use the yellow wire as a ref point it looks like the hub on the pulley is running nice and true while the bolt is wobbling about.

To me (I have been wrong lots) in the last of your 1st photos, it looks like a sharp edge on the inside of the gear around the hole. This would mean that the gear was moving. I can't tell from the pics but is the cam damaged?

It could be the bolt is bottomed out and the gear is moving on the cam.

More exploring and better pics of cam end are required.

Cam doesent seem to be damaged, but the blurr in the pic of the top of the shaft is a rough spot.
