Another electrical thread. Loose wires under steering column
86, 5 spd
Found these two lose wires under the steering column. I know nothing about electronics, do they need to be connected to something?
I also opened up the fuse box and took a look around. I pulled a couple fuses and from what I could see everything looked good. I have read a few threads about problems with the fuses and relays. Is there anything you can see without pulling the whole assembly out that would point to problems?
First pics are fuse box and lasst two are the loose wires.
Thanks!

The yellow/black/blue should have a corresponding connector, ya need it.
The blue and brown should connect to the wiper rheostat wheel mounted on the bottom of the pod.
Those are my observations in the last two pics.

On my 1986, the intermittent wiper rheostat wires are yellow. Brown and Blue go to the pod light rheostat but your three pod lights won't work if they aren't connected.

Hmmm, everything seems to work fine, but this is my first 928 and I could be missing something. I will check it out again this evening. Thanks for the replies.
