How to change the language in the on-board –computer, 93 GTS?
I am new to this 928 world and got my GTS last week. How to change the language in the on-board –computer 93 GTS? Mine is set to French now (car is originally from Switcher land, French part I guess) and that makes no sense for me. Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to Rennlist
From a post by John Speake:
To change language:
1) turn on ignition
2) Link pin 5 to 13 on the diagnostic connector (or use the Digi-dash mode with a "Spanner")
3) Pull lever towards you for 2 seconds
4) "Language" appears in the display
5) The centre display will show a code for language, like D for German.
6) Pull the lever to scroll through the available languages, D, E, F, I. i.e. German, English, Italian, Spannish to the one you need.
7) Turn off igntion or remove link to store the last selected langauage
Should work on your car - if I recall correctly, only model years 90-onwards can change the language this way, so people reading this with a MY89 car, you're out of luck

Just link pins 5 and 13 on the 19way diagnostic connector which is under the "hump" at the side of the passenger seat.
On your GTS the change of language will stay even when the battery is disconnected for any reason.
