Kind of interesting. I left the seller an email, hoping he'll call me about it. Always liked yellow cars, and you don't see many.

It's been on the market for quite a while, including craigslist. I considered posting it here but it didn't look remarkable enough to me, but I might have missed something or it could be in outstanding shape.

I've wondered whether it was this one:

but its not, unless someone got the years wrong and a lot of work has been done to it.

Hmmm, I think it could still be the same car. This one in your link doesn't say what year, and the color looks the same, although in pics it's hard to tell. Baotman doesn't post much. I'll edit my title, see if that helps.

Deep in the thread it gives his name, email address, and identifies Jim Bailey as nearly a neighbor.

That is a sharp car! I really like the chestnut interior.

Boatman is on here frequently, check his profile. And buried deep in the previous thread was the year, an '81 I think.

Ah yes, I see. The shootout car is an 81 the ebay car is a 79.

I love that last pic of the matching butts in red and yellow next to each other in the garage. The problem is so few color change repaints are done worth a damn... To do it right costs a fortune or you need Dean Fuller as your dad! I would LOVE a NICE Speed Yellow (or Ferrari Fly Yellow...they are very nearly the same color) 928! Doc, you get this one, clean it up, repaint it the RIGHT WAY, get a Paul Champagne interior for it and then I'll take it off your hands for WAY less than you will have in it. How about that?! LOL!
