ANOTHER WATER PUMP?
Hello all, I'm farting around the car this morning... I'm looking for vacuum leaks and I notice a small drip of green sorrow. I've checked all my hoses, I've recently been in there withthe MURPH install,no apparent source. I've done the water bridge earlier this summer, dry as a bone. As I'm looking in with a flashlight, with the car idling I see coolant on the front of the oil pan (it's not on the belly pan at all). I also notice after a few minutes that I have wisps of smoke/steam rising out of the driverside timing belt vent. The water pump was replaced with a remanufactured unit in 3/2007. Timing belt etc was also done at that time. I don't know the install milage but I've done nearly 10,000 in the year and a half I've been caretaker. Please confirm my suspicions or save me ! Thanks Brian.

the clue to WP leaks is the coolant will run down the center of the oil pan just under the crank damper if this is what it looks like then you may have a bad WP ,
Also consider removing the lower timing cover bolt just to the right of the crank centerline as you look at the engine, its a long bolt and goes through the waterpump put some sealant on it I use PTFE loctite pipe thread sealant maybe you get lucky and the bolt hole is weeping.
Other thing to check is the top water bridge hoses remove them and look inside for a small hole from the little studs placed on the outlets or small cracks in the rubber if you find damage replace all of the WB hoses
