It's called 'Die Porsche Saga' and it was in German. Not sure if available in English or with subtitles. Google returns a lot of download hits - I saw it on TV though.

It is about Porsche, not about a specific model. The first hour(s) are about Porsche during the ****-era, they could have skipped through that part faster for my taste. Then about the 50's/60's 365 and 911, dealing with GM, Japanese competition, near bankruptcy and finally the most interesting part, what happened during the attempted takeover of VW and then the reverse takeover. I tell you, Ferdinand Piëch is one interesting and very clever dude.
