I really can't see a road race application for a 198 lb paddle shifter when a 70 lb dog ring will do a better job. The 128 lb savings will more than make up for the difference in shift times, don't ya think?
While I agree that a Jerico style dog box is the better choice for a pure road race car...this is being built as a multi purpose car & will see significant street time..which is why the automatic was chosen
The owner is looking into the TCI kit, but with his own trans..not their full $7k unit
