I'm talking about the metal parts, Doing the top end right now fuel injectors off the 86 as well as the PC. The water pump looks good as well as the belt so I am going to get some drive time in before I do those, but the fireflies prompted me to do the top end : new vaccum tube, fuel lines ( original ) and hoses while I am in there. Soon as I get it back together we'll roll. Have you gotten repairs done from the hit and run? Thanks, Jack
The trim on the 86.5 is faded but on the 86 its in good shape, plus waiting on parts.
I do know that many times trim like that is a one shot deal, and it is expensive.
I just replaced one of my outer window felts and was shocked by the price.
Can you just have your painted?
I have replaced the trim on my windshield and quarter windows, still need the door and rear window, so I do understand why you would want to replace it.
The lower front piece has studs on the inside an can't be removed without breaking the part. Mask and paint is a much better option as Mr Merlin stated. I have taken trim off 10 doors and the front piece is a dead end. we have many pieces for everything but the front.
