I definitely understand the project queue situation.

Interesting you considered a 85-86 platform. I like it!
In my head, I figured it needed to be a '78, but really it's a tribute car, the look is what really made it interesting. What made is special was how it's an early preproduction car (SN 4?). That can not be replicated anyway. Why not use a hot tunable 32V 5.0L ?
It would need a bit of bodywork, and front and rear spoiler removal.
I think S4 brakes work with phonies but I'm not absolutely sure.
