3-piece 928 wheels for sale
I have decided to move into 18" wheels on the race car, and have my billet 17" wheels with spares to sell.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AMESELX%3AIT
These have worked very well for me (including Pikes Peak) - so much so that I am selling them reluctantly. But I want to stuff bigger brakes in there 'cuz of my bigger motor, so I have to make the move.
Its a good deal for a 928 racer. And I have a set of new tires to add if you want. I have several videos on my website and You Tube showing me running with the guys on slicks and passing them... these "street" Kumhos were fanatstic and lowered my racing costs quite a bit cause I didnt have to buy new slicks all the damn time, and the eliminated the need to carry an extra set of rains.
Anyway, contact me if you are interested.

If it were only rims, yes. But a complete set of extra centers, and extra barrels too.... with tires...
Make no mistake: forged or cast wheels are cheaper than 3-piece wheels (initially). 3-piece wheels allow for easier and less expensive replacement of a barrel if you bend one, and for re-configuring the wheels to different tires sizes. You cant do that with Cast and Forged wheels.

Nice wheels.
I'm not sure if your new pricing is current though. You can get those wheels NEW in 18" sizes for under $3k. But, they don't come with the spare barrels or spare centers.
For someone wanting to race the car, this is a very good setup. Not gonna be friendly for a street 928 however. Carl runs BIG fenders and those wheels/tires were made to fit under them looks like.

These wheels are listed on the CCW website @ $2,200 for a set of 4.

QUOTE=Carl Fausett;8007733]Yes, best for racing. You will need fender flares.[/QUOTE]
I have those wheels on my car. 9" fronts with 255's and 10" rears with 275's No flares needed.
What a great deal for a racer because of all spares. Good Luck Carl.

The problem with the auction is that once an offer is made the BIN disappears.
Also to play by the rules here, you must always list a Rennlist BIN price when posting something for sale, or linking to an ebay auction.
GLWS, and the look like a pretty nice set of rims.

Those V700s aren't just street tires but pretty darn good DOT race tires. They do last forever and don't go away like other race tires. They were a FFR spec tire and are heavy enough for street use.
I've run just about every used race tire under the sun and V700s were my all time favorite because they just work well and inspire confidence.
