OK, here's my strange request for the night: I'm doing the 94/95 GTS-style breather modifications on my '90 S4 as part of the top-end refresh project that I'm hoping to wrap up within the next week. To complete this and "do it right," I'd like to add the clips that support the hose that connects to two front breather ports on the head (/cam/valve) covers.

Can anyone give me the exact position of the holes (perhaps based on distance to the center of the front mounting hole for the cover to the center of the clip hole and distance to the outer edge of the cover to the center of the clip hole) as well as its diameter?

I'd like mine to match the official GTS fuel rail covers as closely as possible.

Here's a random photo I grabbed based on a Google search; it shows a left-side clip holding the hose. There's a matching one on the right side.





As an interesting aside, fraggle posted this photo a few weeks ago of his '87 S4, and he's obviously got a replacement GTS fuel rail cover with the hole in it, but he put it to an alternative use:

that is interesting, i never knew that set-up was for 94/95 gts. i thought it was a custom mod. my passenger side fuel rail cover has the hole but not the driver side. always wondered what that hole was put there for.
