Default WTB: SF Bay Area stock exhaust, 88 S4

The 88 S4 I picked up, the PO..a few PO's ago, hacked up the exhaust with flowmasters/etc.

Id like to get back to full -stock- for now, and hopefully this will get me a known good set of cats as well, im betting the aftermarket ones installed are no good.

Would be temp to get things back in shape, get past smog, and then go back into the parts pool once the time to upgrade AFTER the refresh duties are complete.

I have an S4 Y-pipe with cats for $125, shipping to you wouldn't be more than $35.

just checked on 928 Intl site and the 86.5 pumpkin won't fit an 88. Not sure about the center mufflers. Anyone out there know if any of components of an 86.5 muffle will fit an 88?

The pipes from the resonator section mating to the rear muffler are different. He needs 87+

Mark - you said

Y-pipe would only have one cat.

is it a Y-pipe conversion with single cat...or H-pipe with stock cats?
