Help. Wing Mirror Control Wire Hookup
Okay, I'm the only one that ever drives my car, but for some reason, I want my electric mirrors to work.
I pulled all the wires off of the toggle and joy stick years ago when working on my interior.
For some stupid reason, I didn't note which wire went to which pin.
The manual says "make note of which wires go to which pins and disconnect."
I've spent time diagraming, both for left and right, what circuit the joy stick does in each of the 4 positions. And I see what the 4 wires from the mirror do.
But I can't figure out the logic.
Help! Can anyone tell me which color wire goes where on this thing?
I think the toggle just sends power from the violet wire to either the left or right end connector.
TIA

There are 2 terminals that are simply connected together internally, (test with DMM in ohmmeter mode) these connect to the 2 brown wires (either way around).
Using the ohmmeter find the terminals that never connect to the brown wire terminals in any switch mode (check all 4 switch directions) there are 2 terminals like this.
Of these terminals one is for the black/violet wire and one is for the white wires. Its easier to just try out each position to see which works... pick one way aropund and see if you get operation in both planes (L<->R & U<->D) if not swap these 2 wires
The remaining 2 undetected terminals are for the blue & black wires - the order doesn't matter at this point - but if the direction of mirror movement is opposite that expected swap these 2 over...
