to do the pedal cable you need a hellper so they can see when your pressing on the pedal the adjuster is on the firewall.
And your correct if its adjusted too tight then the throttle cable will not release enough this will then not let the TPS see the idle circuit

Yeah, basically no slack, making sure the throttle still closes all the way. You should be able to hear the idle switch click no matter how gently and slowly you open or close the throttle. That needs to be completely reliable or the idle will not be stable.

Default 928 cable

Throttle body butterfly link

The picture which has been uploaded by another user(showing the different connection with cruize, accelerator pedal, transmission etc). The connection from the throttle bod( highlighted portion by me) does it connects to the throttle link in the multilink connector(cruize, acclerator pedal, transmission etc)... I could not understand how it works I mean the accelerator connection is not moving the throttle link here how it will operate the butterfly valve..Hope I make sense...
Thanks

I'm planning to change to stand alone ECU with dbw gas pedal and electronic throttle control, but now I figured out this Bowden cable. Are there any similar experiences regarding this? Alternatives are as far as I understand.
1) use existing gas pedal and build a gas pedal position sensor bracket to that bracket all cables are connected to and use existing Bowden cable and gas pedal cable as is now
2) install dbw gas pedal and use some actuator for moving Bowden cable according to throttle pedal position. Is the required pulling force for cable same when motor running and not running?
3) install dwb gas pedal and use some standard default tightening for Bowden cable
