Default TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF MY MURPH STAGE III INSTALL

My Honey-do list is completed! The wife has given me the green light (and the weekend) to play. I've had the kit for months but in the eternal quest for marital bliss it's still in boxes. I'll start rippin and tearin after lunch. Wish me luck, this is the biggest mod I've ever undertaken, and I'm terrified!

Hang in there man, you will make it. If i was in the area, I would be right there with you sharing the excitement. You are one lucky man. If i spent that much $$$ on a single mod, and she found out about it, I would really be in the dog house. It was brilliant of you to take care of the honey do list first. You will have a ball, just follow the instructions and ask questions. I will almost bet you there are a couple of 928ers out there closer to you that would drive there just to share the joy of helping you open those packages

Enjoy and 'Have a ball man'

Don't be terrified, the kit is very well designed and not that hard to install. One thing I ‘wish’ I did before doing my install was a good engine cleaning. A can of engine cleaner and a few minutes at the quarter car wash would had saved me tons of time doing individual part cleaning and hand washing. Hope you have money set aside for your rear tire budget.

+1 Well worth putting the install off a day to clean everything first.

Good luck on your project. I'm sure you will have a great time. also
If anyone needs to stash any SC Kit or expensive parts you can have them mailed to my house and I will take care of them until the coast is clear.
I need a TB/WP and gears, I guess I better get to hanging these ceiling fans.

Good luck. It'll be a big power upgrade. You don't want to go back after driving with boosted power.

Have fun with it! Take your time and make sure any other issues are taken care of while you are doing it. Mine was a partial kit (non Murf) and I had to make some stuff as I went along; patience and perseverance was a requirement. The end result is rewarding and the power is absolutely corrupting and addicting!

Thanks all, I'm havin a ton of fun!I've called Tim a few times already... he's the man!!! I don't want to bother him as my questions are kinda dumb, but he's great. Roger is overnighting me a flywheel lock, apparently a must have. He is another God!

So far I've got the air box,fan bracket, electric fan(not oem), and all the belts off. Yes I've been cleaning as I go. I've installed the 42# fuel injectors and refitted the rails etc. I actually think I know what all the parts are for, lets just hope it goes as well as it seems. Tim's instructions are very clear and straight forward. Manana I begin again. Thanks again, Brian

I cannot remember if this is in the instructions or not. Once the fuel system is all back together, it's a good idea to jumper the fuel pump relay and check for leaks.
