UPDATE... Sat. was a fairly good day, I was able to disassemble most everything I had to. I was able to install the air filters, and install a new pump on the windsheild washer reservior. I was stuck on the crank pulley because I'm a dumbs@#$ and didn't have a flywheel locking tool. Friday at 4:30 (Maine time) I called ROGER (the God) at 928 RUS, and by Sat. at noon I had said part!!!!! Go USPS!
Sunday was when things really started to click. There were a few times I wanted to call Tim and call him abunch of names, but as I went along every thing has gone exactly as he said it would. This rig is so F#$%^ tight, everything just barely fits... but it fits! I got the pulley off and swapped, the supercharger bracket easy as pie. All the belts on and tight, shim the power steering pulley. Clean, clean, clean. I had to remove the radiator to finally get the cold air intake mounted to the blower. I dicked around with this for quite a while, finally I just pulled it, life was easy after that. I know I'll have to fool around with all my fluids but that extra room was everything. After I got the radiator back in and all lines connected, I started to plumb the Intercooler. There's just not many places to route the lines. Lots of head scratching, but we figured it out. I had to do a bit of cutting on the B&M cooler flanges (just like Tim said), and it's gonna fit real tight (I'm not sure if I can actually mount it?), with the grill in place. I took a sortof break and installed the chips, and buttoned that up. I also did all the pre-assembly I could with the fans and intercooler.
I didn't have as much time as I would have liked, Wife,Kids, dog, life, blah,blah... but My loving wife gave me another get out of jail free weekend and I'm sure I can finish it up this weekend. So as it stands... I need to finish the plumbing for the intercooler, wire the pump, and finesse it all together. Wire and install the four fans. Reinstall the cold air intakes. Do the blow-off valve, some vacuum lines, fluids, fender liners, wheels, REMOVE THE FLYWHEEL LOCK!!!!!, and a bunch of small things... then fire the BEAST!
i'LL KEEP YOU POSTED! Thanks ,Brian
