Ignoring the low amperage and HUGE cost, there was a VERY good reason that Porsche put that huge lump of a battery in the back....weight distribution.... so its 50/50 front rear...
So if you did put that in you need to lose 20 lbs from the front as well...
For the cost of that battery you could shave more than 20lbs off the nut behind the wheel.
Liposuction is still pretty expensive.
In all seriousness, the 928 electrical system seems to be "leaking" all the time, so I'd much rather find the highest capacity battery that fits in the stock S4battery box than save 20 pounds from the rear end.

Todd has an RV battery in his turbo 928 - IIRC it weighs over 75lbs.
I signed him up as an emergency responder for the Packers stadium in case they lose power during a night game.
I'm with Danglerb and Brett on this one, I have plenty of extreme lightweight parts however I have used the parts in a way that works the best for weight distribution. I don't think and I am quite sure about this that I wont use the braille battery as the weight in that area is quite helpful.
I already have one in my GTS. 17Ah (680A for 5 seconds), 15Lbs

I'm just not believing that those little tab terminals will really pass 680 Amps without explosive heat buildup.
At the same time, the little 17AH AGM battery is what's at the heart of those little jump-start boxes that you pay ~~$75 for at Pep Boyz. It's enough to juice up the 'main' battery wne that one gets low, but I'll speculate that it doesn't really have the instant current capacity to run the starter by itself.
