I think a good addition would be the continual development of the 928 by enthusiasts after production finished. e.g the achievements of Mark Anderson and others in racing. Devek innovations, 200mph ORR etc. This is something that Long's book has not covered properly.

Be interesting if the original designers would weigh-in on the brilliance of some of the aftermarket upgrades.

There was a thread in the last couple of weeks concerning the innovation patents for the 928. I thought it was very interesting.
