Sounds like a sweet car. A bit out of my price range though.

Man this is tempting. The problem is I'd have to sell all three of my 928s as well as the Andy Keel SC kit still sitting on the shelf in my garage to buy it. My wife won't go for the "I'm going to sell the others, but this is too good of a deal to pass up"...again.

Nice car, looks like a great deal on a nicely maintained and upgraded Shark.

good deal for sure, I would HIGHLY recommend you get the A/C working, even if it costs money. It is really the difference in a sale and sitting on it.

Bumping this back up because I'm now getting serious about selling.
Lets start out by listing it at $15,000 or best offer and see what happens. Going to keep it here in this forum for a week or so and then start the whole autotrader/ebay routine if no one here wants it.

nothing has changed other than a new battery went in last week because I let it sit too long...maybe has an additional 100 miles on it now. I just don't have the time for it and have a need for the cash so I'm getting motivated where I was just toying with the idea before.

I'll be glad to drive to a serious buyers location, say within a couple hundred miles of here ( Myrtle Beach S.C.)
I'll get some pics up in a day or two, it needs a wash, I just drove it in the rain....seems like the only time I get to drive it rains
This car needs some one to drive it!
email me with questions to:
craig.serviceplus AT gmail.com
or post them here and I'll check back.
Thanks! Craig

Wow, someone will be getting a really complete setup. The Sharktuner an all the other extras are worth a lot to people who know what they are, which most like won't be a first time buyer. You might considere selling some of your other goodies seperately.

Also, what is the aftermarket silicone boot under the MAF all about? Does is 'stick' on better?

Yea the boot stays on better...really well.

I may try to take the car to SITM if I still have it then so more people can have a hands on opinion of it but I'd like to cash out sooner.
I promise to get some pics and maybe a video up soon.

The phrase is actually "In like Flynn" (meaning Errol Flynn; popular actor from the '50s and well known ladies' man -that got "in" more often than not)

Good deal on the car BTW... if I had the funds it would be a nice counterpart to the Lightnin'!

good hyjack, but more than one phrase exists... maybe he was referencing an old movie:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Like_Flint
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_did_th...39;_come_about

Kind of like the meaning of OB... it's all matter of perspective of the speaker/writer and listener/reader.
