Default PET 7.2

Anyone getting 7.2 t run on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit . I get erros about the hardlock in German I believe. Tried XP SP3 compatibility mode and running as admin. May try in a virtual machine of XP and see if that helps.

In general compatiblity issues seem to be much worse with 64 bit windows 7 than 32 bit.

I had to stick with pet 7.0 on my windows 7 64bit, that works fine, anything above I had the same hardlock issues.

I just installed v7.2 and tried running it under Windows XP Professional SP3, and also get the hardlock error message.

This was my experience as well with Vista 64.

Is there something special that 7.2 provides that 7.1 does not?

I just decided to run 7.1 which is working fine. unless 7.2 adds parts that 7.1 doesn't have (doubtful) 7.1 seems fine.

I just loaded 7.2 and it runs fine on Windows XP.
Burned some discs if anyone wants one.
7.2 is far better than 7.1 and adds a lot of neat features. If you use PET a lot like I do 7.2 is the way to go. If you just search occasionally then PET 7.1 is fine.

I'd be more than happy to pay for a copy. Just let me know the cost.

Wow that was amazing - lots of requests.
I do not have the time to sit and burn lots of CD's so I asked Mercedes (my daughter) if she wanted to earn some money by burning them. $6.50 each to cover the cost of the CD and postage and some money for her. Nothing for the PET 7.2.
I have DVD's at the moment does that work for everyone? or do I need to get her some CD's?

Total is $6.50. I did not word it very well. That includes money for Mercedes.
$6.50 covers the CD/DVD and shipping in the US and a couple of bucks for Mercedes. We are charging nothing for PET 7.2 .
