Default 928MS rear links and tiedown install

I got this kit from another Renn member and installed it today. the hardest part was drilling out the swaybar for the bigger bolts. i also replaced the lower link bolt with a longer one. i felt that the bolt that came with the kit was to short and did not get enough threads. Great kit.

I installed the rear links recently and also had to drill out the rear bar holes. One side went easy, but the other seemed pretty much impossible. I went through 4 brand new bits before I finally gave up and decided to just put the smaller bolt in and come back later to make a bushing to make the smaller bolt fit correctly.

Tough steel will harden if you happen to have a less-than-sharp drill bit. Plenty of coolant (WD-40 in a pinch) and sharp quality bits work wonders. If you do happen to accidentally 'heat-treat' the drilled metal with a dulling bit, it will forever be a tough go trying to drill it even coming back later with a new bit.

Cobalt Bits or try Carbide if need be. Coolant is a must. Any thick gear oil on the drill point will work good to, just re dip in the oil often.

That sway bar was indeed hard steel. but whenever i do a trans swap, ill stick in a better swaybar.
