Are you asking whether or not you can remove the pop-up lights altogether, or simply go to a different lamp design?

You're talking body work at that point.

What year 928 is it?

But the 986 also has pop-up lights....?

I consider the pop up headlights to be one of the most iconic things about a 928...

If its an 83', you probably have the chrome rims around the light surrounds. You can upgrade to the later style S4/GT/GTS lights w/ no chrome surrounds. You can also upgrade to the H4-class Euro lamps.

www.jacquemond.com

Not cheap though....it was around 1500euros IIRC when I ask a price for the kit some time ago. So it is for the fiberglass pieces to be glued/riveted/molded into your stock fenders + Hella (IIRC) projector headlight units.

I like it.

I recall someone had fitted a Fiat Coupe headlights to 928....not so bad looking at all. But I would still prefer those projectors....

I have to ask why? The headlights are an integral part of the car's design...some might say they are its hallmark. If the headlights are unacceptable you would be better off financially with a car that has the appearance you like.

I like the stock headlights but it's your car.

Supposedly the headlights for the DB7 are a direct fit but @ $800 each I won't be trying it anytime soon. There is a discussion about this on two other forums right now.

Stocks are ok, part of the car design and I think they only look a bit horrible when they are activated. And if your friends are having laugh of you, you can tell them the lights are similar to Lamborghini Miura!
