Suggested addition for the top of the 928 FAQ.....

1)... Do not under any circumstance criticize an IB supporting 928 Vendor
2)... Do not under any circumstance criticize any IB Moderator
3)... See rules 1 and 2.

That should clear it up for all new members...and prospective new members...

Actually, the criticisms, due to the professionalism of the supplier, resulted in outcomes that are postive for everbody here, including the business. Kudos again to the supplier.

I would have a hard time sending money to any "non-member", especially one with a low post count.

Selling to is a different story.

not ever gonna happen.........unless you can get us all fired......

How are things going in your world called "me"

You didn't like the outcome with mason......

News flash........... you are not obligated to.

If it is not me it will just be someone else...................... you are never gonna get it the way you want it "all the time" unless you, elect you, "god".

Good luck with that.

This internet thingy is a two way street FYI,

Looks like Gretch put down the banjo long enough to post something.

Hey I don't know about any of you but I've been waiting for some club to let me become a member since the 80s so I can finally wear this cool jacket:

Dude, I might still have my gray Memebers Only jacket I had in 7th grade. Must call my mummee and ask her to send it down. Hell, it might still fit.

I really considered starting a thread about Roger, He made me wait two days for a part, but didn't want to get banned. The Sterling is a ***** thread was close enough.

Sean,

You are right on.

The carping on non-members is bull****.

The heavy handed moderator behavior is bs too. It doesn't take too much to moderate without entering the fray, once the moderators weigh in and publically ridicule, its not moderating, its stoking the flames.

I've done the moderator job on a number of lists over the years and know its a thankless job, but there are other ways of doing it, and they work.

To be honest, and not kissing any ***, I don't have a problem with the moderators here. Thankless job I'm sure. Done it for years on gaming forums. Suck *** job. There were some teething issues when IB first bought it out, but the real heavy handedness in moderation has slacked off ia lot.

Gretch and I have not seen eye to eye (not because he stand 1.5 feet taller than me) on a lot of things, but I think he adds a bit of personality to Rennlist, you don't have to agree with him, but he's not doing a bad job. Besides, every forum should have a local lumberjack/smartass on hand to keep us in line.

Ahh, yes, good clarification, I did not mean to indicate that you had said anything about the moderators.

I was just adding to the extended discussion.

Therefore, can someone please moderate my comments - but please do so politely and in the most perfect way?

You are welcome to the job..............

You want it? step up.........

People have have opinions.

For me, that comes first. I agreed to moderate as a favor. I was a member LONG before I agreed to help moderate the goings on here. I did not agree to give up my opinon as a consequence.................. and will not agree to it.

The rule here is you don't moderate a thread you participate in.. So either moderate it or express an opinion or maybe neither, but not both.

You want the site to be moderated to "your personal" satisfaction????

Get JD to coach you on how to start a site.

The plebs love an insurrection........... have a ball, get me fired....... enjoy yourself!

You have obviously mistaken me for someone who actually wants this job.

I like and respect the "stand up" members here, and am only too happy to attempt to be of service. However, (and there are many of them) I am not going to pander to nonsense and lack of common courtesy.

You want some kinda namby pamby moderator??

Please! step up and take a shot at it........ I dare ya.

Sincerely, Paul Bunyan
