This has been resolved slowly but professionally, so gretch and everyone can take their complaints about my complaint and shove them up your asses
I think what he means by this is he called several times in a row on a Friday afternoon and never left a message.

Wow - good luck getting so much as a torque spec out of our asses now, chief.

Maybe you'd be happier with the other sour grapes over at Reutterwerk...

Aside from Normy, who would you consider 'sour grapes'?

Don't drag Reutter into this... no sour grapes over there... This discussion could have happened over there and it would have been handled much more amicably than here.... Fanboi's and biased moderators don't exist over there..

Now back to your typical rennlist member agendas....

An awful lot of assumption, innuendoes, and name calling on these threads… really bringing out the best in our community.

Ironic how complaining isn’t tolerated much, but complaining about complaining is almost expected.

Neither one of them solve any problems… perceived or real.

Just my unprofessional opinion, but I believe there is a distinct difference between this thread from the other recent vendor complaint threads. To me, I read this as a "be warned" message. Clearly not the same message efforts by the last posters. There's nothing tasteless about this.

It's nice to hear that so many of you appreciate our vendors. That's great. I do too. However, just because they are few in number does not free them from their accountability to correctly and efficiently complete their customer orders. It's just like the roach infested Mexican joint down the road. The people that run that place are nice also. Does that mean that their customers should be expected to be silent about it and not tell neighbors and family about it? PLEASE!! It's simple business guys. Personally, I'm grateful for these threads. My last order to 928 Specialists was also fumbled. Now I know in advance that it wasn't an isolated incident and I won't be giving the benefit of the doubt next time just because they're the closest vendor to me.

Basic business principles to me.

Those who left here just because of the ownership change to IB.

My comment was not an indictment of anyone who posts on RW, but I thought it all fit together nicely for the purposes of my previous post.

You still haven't answered the question. As far as I can tell, the only ones there, are also the ones here. Something must have left a bad taste in your mouth about RW. I'm there to help John D, as are a lot of others.

Absolutely. The environment here on this forum can as toxic as it is informative at times. Terrible shame that so many intelligent, grown men and women can't play nicely over here.

I'm a frequent poster on Reutter, what's that supposed to mean?

I absolutely answered the question Sean. But I'm guessing you didn't find it satisfying, though. I'll elaborate... There were several regular, knowledgeable RL'ers who left for RW, for what seemed to me like petty reasons, and I was disappointed to lose them... that's all. I do not know anything about the moderator politics you mentioned.

Let me start by saying that I like 928 Specialists. They have gotten a lot of my money over the years and I have been VERY satisfied with the products I have gotten from them, both Porsche and Dave Roberts developed. BUT, and it's a big but, threads like this tell me that either a problem has developed in their 2-4 person operation or something else is going on. These type threads also tell me their customer service needs some immediate attention.

There is one last point that seems very obvious to me at least. I never hear complaints about 928s-rus, 928 International or 928 Motorsport SLC. They are obviously doing business the right way.
