I think that is a Minichamps model and it looks like an S4/GT with Cup wheels.

I agree... the lighting doesn't really show the wide quarters you would expect on a GTS. But it does (?) look like it has aero mirrors...

Were there other pics from different angles on the auction to show the quarters better and/or the rear bumper?

I have about 80 or so 1:43 scale 928's and some have aero mirrors some have flag mirrors and some have no mirrors. Would be curious to see if this has the flairs. Oh yes and some transform into metal men. LOL

You never know what is inside a male. Sometimes they are all soft and gooey, sometimes a hard nut. Just what I've heard.

I always wanted to go to Peable Beech.

Seriously, I wonder how you encourage them to make the larger scale. Of course it helps if there is a large market for it; I won't tell you what I paid for a Ford GT40 1:18, and as desirable as the car is, I still would rather have a GTS.

Chuck, whatever came of the poll on the registry about future 1:18 offerings... did that ever go to AutoArt or any other diecast maker?

So I won't tell you what the exoto 1:10 scale Shelby Signature edition GT40 is for sale for. I will say it is less than half the $1950.00 MSRP.

I saw that auction too Chuck. I collect 928 diecast in 1/64 scale and some 1/43 scale cars too. I was going to bid, but at the last minute decided not to. If it was a S model I would have. Please post your opinions and photos of it when it arrives. I'm very curious to see more of it. From the auction pic it looks pretty nice. Very detailed for 1/43 scale.

I'm sure you have the S versions that are available. Pretty sure I do.

I'm hoping the seller knows the diff between an S4 and a GTS.... Prolly not so we'll see what the rear looks like and if the fenders are really flared or not..... If not, they're going to get neg feedback b/c I asked specifically about that and they never responded.... Figured for $30 bucks wasn't much of a risk.
