Nice looking (from pix) 86.5 5 Speed in New Jersey
This might be a nice find:

Price is at $7500 but it is a classified ad and I am sure there is room for negotiation.
No idea of service history or actual condition.
18" Turbo Twists....5 Speed....could be a rocket with some mods....

Think the wife would notice if I just switched cars?
A little bit of misinformation in the listing but it's about typical (faster than an '86, only a few hundred 86.5s were made, hard to find paint, same engine as the S4, that kind of thing).
If I were in a position to do so I'd jump on it.
If anyone wants me to take a look at it I can head down there and show him how rare the paint color is.

Yeah, pretty much my dream car. Add crossovers, Chips, '87 FPR and a nice stereo and you'd have the car I'm trying to build. I'm probably about $7500 away from that now. (and about 150k miles over). Ugh!

I spoke to the guy his name is (Tony) several weeks ago. But he didn't get back with me, so I bought another one.
He says hes moved and has no garage to put it in. I believe he would take less. I I was getting ready to text him and offer him 4,000 to see if he is having a fire sale.
I have the Carfax on it still. let me know if its OK to post it.
I think it had odometer issues. I also believe he said it came from Pennsylvania from 928 motorsports and he referenced a 928 parts company in PA as the previous owner. He did give me the guys name to ask about his vehicle and it is the same number for 928 motorsports.
