Looked pretty good back then and Mason was asking more then $7k.

I think it had odometer issues. I also believe he said it came from Pennsylvania from 928 motorsports and he referenced a 928 parts company in PA as the previous owner. He did give me the guys name to ask about his vehicle and it is the same number for 928 motorsports.

OK, so it originated with Mason or maybe he was selling it for someone else.

Anyone got any idea why it has been for sale so many times or for so long without any takers?

For the previous asking price it didn't look like such a bargain (although it might be close).

For $7500 you could put another $2500 into some PM and have what looks like a really sweet car for $10k.

Anyone want to spot me about $9500?

The 86.5 5 speed Mason was selling was worth $5-6K in my opinion having seen it in person.
