Youch!! That dash looks nasty!
I have had my car since April. In that time I have had only ONE person comment on it or give it a second glance (as far as I know). I guess that is Midwest Kansas for you.

Well, the dash is obviously shot but I have seen some good dash replacement kits on the internet. The door panels are warped. Interior plastics near the hatch are pretty much gone from the sun exposure I guess. Irepped out all the carpeting ( appeared to be rooten). The center console is solid and the seats are fair with some minor rips. I'm going to yank out the whole interior and go from there.....

"dash replacement kits on the internet"... hmmmm, yet NO ONE HERE has bothered to use them... I suggest they are JUNK! A recovering of the REAL dash is the only way to go and removal is a pretty big job and/or expensive job if you pay someone to do it...

Yes, that dash is definetly going to be an issue. I didn't know about the poor quality of the dash covers / replacements. I had seen them on Amazon. Not sure if it's okay to post the url on this forum so I can pm to anyone of they are interested but they at least looked good in the picture. But maybe they are garbage. I don't know.

James; I went to your public profile and realized that I have seen your # 99 Porsche 928 weeks before I purchased my 928 while surfing the net, and saved it in my favorites. I love that car ! Let me get this straight, you owned all those 928s at one time, at the same time ? If so that is awesome!!

Just went to James website and saw all the 928s in the garage. My mouth was watering. Very inspiring to me. I have owned several Porsches at one time at different periods of my life, and I miss that. Never like James, though. What a wonderful sight to look at at the end of a long day.

They are in Georgia so there will be shipping involved. But hard to beat 200 simolians.
