Hey Ray, I am in SW Florida too ( Miami ). I was talking to my Porsche tech friend. We both agree that there are no Porsche 928 Specialists in the city of Miami. Do you agree?

Thank you thank you for your comments. i will be pouring over the 928 FAQ section throughout the night. Will be posting pics in the early am. Miami is like an oven right now, horrible muggy steamy weather-Hurricane Season. I'm going to get up early when it's cooler and pour some fresh super unleaded into the old gal.

Hi Ray,
Welcome to the addiction! It's hard to park a 928 and walk away without turning around to have another look!! enjoy your new ride !!

This thread will blow up by this time tomorrow night...just watch the welcome wagon will blow you away.
You should come to the Third Coast event in November here in Texas...you will have a great time and learn a ton.

Great that you found your way to the shark tank!!

I am jealous that you live in Miami, even if it is muggy and hot, it is still one of my favorite places!! Fantastic city that could only be made better if I was cruising around it in my 928S!

I was born and raised in Miami. I am 42 years old. I can tell you this. The 928 still turns heads in Miami / Miami Beach today ( when you might catch a rare glimpse of it) the way it turned heads in the early 80s. Nothing has changed. The effect is the same. People stop and stare. Every time I purchased a Porsche and had it in my driveway over the last 15 years, my neighbors never really looked or made comments. Which was fine by me. No one really cared or noticed. When the 928 was towed in to my driveway recently they came out of the woodwork asking me about the car. Pretty cool. The neighborhood kids love it and keep on calling it the 'Scarface' car. I've got one kid calling me Tony Montana. Oh boy.

Oh well. Here goes: the good, bad and the ugly. Photos of the soon to be work in progress. But I am looking forward to it.
