Anthony,
That's very cool! I'm sorry you canceled your DE, but glad you'll make it. I put you on the list for hot dogs. It doesn't matter what kind, I plan to burn them anyway.
See you then!

Hey! The post I sent this morning didn't get put up. Hmmnn....
Well, from memory:
Mike,
I heard that you installed fuel injectors, a turbocharger and that you use nitro for your grill so in case you accidentally really do burn the dogs and burgers, I will have a home made pasta dish that I am bringing along.
I will try to get my girl Gayle to make it. I am sure it won't be a problem as she loves to create culinarily (is that even a word?).
Too bad she can't make it to this event. She would have loved it. We had a blast at Sharks in the Mountains down in North Carolina in '08. I let her drive the what seemed like about 40 miles through nothing but hairpin turns and elevation changes to the restaurant rendezvous. She kept up well with the 100 or so other 928 drivers. She's awesome.
Back on topic:
Count me in to bring the dish mentioned above (the pasta- not Gayle).
And some brews.
All Best,
Allen in Allentown, PA

Allan, that sounds great. Looking forward to it.
Glen,
I'll be up at Adam's on Sunday and we'll go over the details. Since people are coming from so far away it probably won't be much before 9:30am, maybe 10:00 would be better.
Stay tuned everyone, I'll update and send out PMs on Sunday evening...

If you want to bring one or two that would be fine, we don't have anyone else that signed up for them so hopefully someone else will volunteer to bring some too.
Here's most of it for those of you who have PMs turned off (or just have me blocked. )
Hey Everyone,
Adam and I spoke yesterday and we think we're going to also have to set up a rain date of the following Saturday 10/16/2010. Hopefully we'll get it in this weekend though.
So thanks everyone for your interest. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to bring something and if you haven't signed up to bring a food or beverage, please do so no one gets stuck bringing more than anyone else.
Here are the details of the initial meet:
We'll meet at 9:30am at Maclearie Park in Belmar. It's right off the end of Rt 138/195.
I figure we'll stick around from 9:30 until about a quarter to ten or ten o'clock to wait for any stragglers, then maybe swing over to the beach to get some pictures along the ocean. Then we'll head up to Adam's place in Freehold.
I will not be giving out his address ahead of time as this is a meet at Maclearie Park and then a drive.
If you don't plan to meet us ahead of time you can call my cell phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx(deleted here, but it was in the PM) and I'll let you know when we get to Adam's place so you can join us.
I can also be reached at m.r.frye at comcast.net.

I'm planning to be there as well. Looking forward to meeting you all. Would it help at all if i were to bring the condiments and such?? I don't want to sound like i'm trying to get off on the cheap, but its the side stuff that really makes for great bar-b-que. Also, if anyone else is leaving from the long island, nyc vicinity let me know. the cruise down could be sweet as well. Its an easy 1 1/2hr. from where I am, a long ride that could be cool with a few sharks together. Let me know if it can happen.

Sorry, I wasn't able to PM you, glad you checked in.
We're not snobbish about the kind of car you bring. (Peter brought a matchbox model of his 928 last year and parked it in a spot for the pictures because his car was out of commission). You'll just have to stay to the rear of the line when we're cruising. When you said 'also' does that mean you're bringing more than one car? That WOULD be impressive.
