what are these?
Hi All can anyone tell me what the thin metal tabs that are all over the bottom of the 928 are? I have attached a pic. I don't have any idea what they could be, were they used during assembly?

those are be for the auto trans fluid lines, or rear air conditioning lines

that ziptied line is for the fuel vent its done for federalization , the clamps are for either the ATF lines or the rear air lines

They are intended to hold pipes that you dont have in the same way as the pipes visible in your pic. a 5 speed wibt have atf cooler lines, nor will an 84 have a rear A/C. Mine are used for atf cooler lines.
