Default what are these?

Hi All can anyone tell me what the thin metal tabs that are all over the bottom of the 928 are? I have attached a pic. I don't have any idea what they could be, were they used during assembly?

Thanks

Sam

Probably meant to retain that cable that is zip-tied to your fuel lines.

They are intended to hold pipes that you dont have in the same way as the pipes visible in your pic. a 5 speed wibt have atf cooler lines, nor will an 84 have a rear A/C. Mine are used for atf cooler lines.
