When I got my newer Saab in January, it had some strange discoloration on the door panel and drivers seat, which I attributed to hand sweat or body oils. I tried all my auto interior cleaners without success.

Then I grabbed the degreaser I had in the garage. If the material and discoloration had resisted everything else, it might not go kaputt from the degreaser.

To my big surprise, the degreaser made everything look like brand new. All dirt came off (it took a few rounds of cleaning, but it worked). Best of all: The leather got that silky feel back that normally you only get from new car leather.

I put some leather conditioner on to keep it from drying out, and it's been beautiful ever since.

My plan is to attack the 928 that way in the future, when I find some time...

OK, Magic Eraser for cleaning, what for conditioning leather? I'm stupid, I've always used small amounts of Armor All. Where can I buy the good stuff?

Cheers,

Sean
