Pine trees in Indiana? Was Todd a Pats fan? or has he moved and assumed a new identity (to go with the new screen name)?

Default Thanks for the love

Wow....sceptics are everywhere here. Sorry if I upset any of the "regulars" on this forum but I am obviously not a regular. The car is real and after keeping outstanding care of it for the past 8 years I expected this forum to be interested in the fact that it's out there and for sale. My name is Kent Smith, I am the third owner of this car, I just bought a 997 TT and need room. It kills me to sell it but since most 928's are worth less than used camry's (even nice ones)' I may end up keeping it and then you would be stuck with the Pats fan from upstate NY that Fu*#&kd' up his first thread. PS. Red sox Fan too. Yankees Suck.

Anyway.....thanks to those who thew some love at the car. It's very much appreciated. Smitty.

We believe the car is real, Smitty. It's you who we've been wondering about. The MO of your first two posts (pumping "someone else's car for sale" when it's your own, especially with some dubious provenance added for a littel extra sizzle) is the exact same style as Mr Todd Johnson, aka, the banned-for-life former Rennlister "Low Miler".

You'll have to pardon our suspicion. This is a shark tank, after all!

GLWS!

PS - nice lawn!!

BIN is $28900 and 'bidding' is up to nearly $24k.

Where do you live at? I'm headed your way with a trainload of used Camrys.

Is there any proof that door speakers are original factory items?

This crew doesn't take well to bull**** artists and in fact, delights in excoriating them.........

This thread has been amusing......... "smitty" paid up and has established his "credibility" for ever.

toddy denies it is him at T.O.S........... (not like I am inclined to believe anything he says).

Can't tell. I know the car was orded without rear speakers and it's been rumored without a stereo system completely. Selleck had the custom speaker box put on the tool kit and a woofer in the spare tire. I replaced all the speakers and found the boxes behind the door panels to appear factory. The perforrated leather has a different grain however so it's hard to say if porsche did it or some custom CA shop. Selleck won't return my calls.

Without proof it has to be treated as aftermarket setup. Which lowers its value considerably.

Just to stir the pot a little (more), comments on whether the colors/features of the Selleck interior are more/less desirable that Afshin's gorgeous "Beverly Hills" GT?

Wonder how often Hyacinth was startled into the bushes by Onslow's dog, from within your 928?

I don't really care if you are Todd or not, you are full of it with those first two posts. Not even good at being shady.

You do have a nice lawn.

I don't know the reason to believe the speakers covers are aftermarket. They look like a high quality "factory" job to me.
