why someone does not cast you as a lead in an Xmas movie will be a mystery. I've talked to you enough times on the phone to know you have the voice for it.

Damn, Jim - I had no idea.
I've got a nice spot off the patio beneath the rhododendrons you can camp out at.
I can adjust the sprinklers so they don't come on until 7 am.
Nice hat!

Good for you Jim! thats great. Personally i think there will be a bigger role for you out there at some point...never know when that producer/writer is looking through folders and says "this guy...thats the one we need right there.."...and all of a sudden you could find yourself on a movie set. You have great presence and i mean that in a good way!

Thanks for the comments (well most of them) I knew this was off topic but thought many of you might find it fun. Couple weeks ago I did get a "featured" extra part in a movie....as homeless guy ! The wardrobe and props are all my own including the aged suit cases sign and hats. The movie set was an alley in the L A garment district. I am pushing a shopping cart scavenging bottles when I find the body of a young woman under the trash bags. They spent 45 minutes or so shooting it from various angels, point of view, crane cam etc. So when they said camera, action It was just me doing the moving No words however, they are really hard to get.....

That's two homeless guy gigs, man. Be careful not to get typecast. ...Like Nick Cage and lousy movies.
Seriously, I think your intrepid endeavour into Holly-ga-ga is very cool! I wish you well and hope to see you on CSI one day as I charming, ultra-intelligent, investigative phenom. Godspeed!

I was also homeless on Californication , Laura Dern's new show Enlightened , eccentric beach character on Munk , Bar patron on Justified, Fisherman on Sons of Anarchy, Mechanic in a chop shop in the movie The Gardener , got two SAG vouchers for that gig...one more and I can join the Screen Actors Guild if I decide to.

Jim, great job on the commercial.
Have you ever thought about performing as a professional Santa Claus? I have an uncle whom you resemble that owns a business that directs various Santa Claus activities [all must have the natural 'look'].
