A touch of Champagne in the old 928
I took the plunge and asked Paul to provide me one of his creations - a rear hatch cover. This one is a bit unique from his standard cover as he created this with leather on both sides - looks great!
Just thought I would share some pictures - there have been a few posts on read hatch covers, so here is an example of what Paul has done for me. The color is burgundy to match my interior.
The first picture is the cover with the hatch open. There are two leather covered boxes which I can use to store the crap I usually have. Car is much cleaner looking in the back now.
The second picture is a close-up of the emblem on the leather - Awesome!
The third picture is a close-up of the stitching (plus also shows the leather on the top of the cover) ... what can I say?
The fourth picture shows the back of the leather covered storage boxes from the car interior. Fit nice behind the rear seats. A bit of sun and the leather color should fade right into the existing interior (although the interior has a many year head start).
This is installed in a 86.5 928
Thanks Paul!!

Paul does some fantastic work. Here are a couple of pics of mine in classic grey. The top piece (crest) is alcantara to reduce the reflection in the rear window and the bottom (shark) is leather. Also the storage compartments come in very handy.

That looks fantastic! Paul does amazing work.
Jim, Does the Alcantara really reduce the glare versus regular finished leather?

There is no question that Alcantara cuts glare to zero.
Since we were doing leather on both sides, I coated Glenn's leather with UV stable pigments and a matte finish that also has a stain barrier.
So there will be more reflection than with Alcantara or suede, but it should not be bad at all.
Thanks for the pictures Glenn

It appears that Paul makes continuous improvements to the products without advertising it! I've seen a few versions of the rear hatch in leather and this is the nicest I've seen so far.
Looks awesome.
