The price is the same as on Paul's website. I did have to pay a bit more for the second side leather PLUS Paul also provided the fasteners for cover (rear bar and the turn connectors into the hatch - also an additional cost.

I could have supplied my own hardware ... but I knew that I could not do as good as a job as Paul would so ... it was worth the few dollars more.

And there was shipping up to Canada.

Visit Paul's site for the starting price ($325)
http://www.designpaulchampagne.com/928Luggage.html

And then add in your additional requests for the final price

With my selected options plus shipping to here ... just over $500

Cheers
Glenn

For the record, Porsche charged $565.00 for the leather luggage cover back in 1990. If we add about 3% / Year for inflation we arrive at $904.00 in 2010 pricing. Note that the Porsche cover doesn't include the logo or the cool storage boxes. Paul's price is a bargain.

Here is my PC luggage cover... I am waiting on the classic gray one for my '94 GTS...it will have the cut out for the CD changer in it and I think will be the first one of those that Paul has done. Can't wait to see what he comes up with for that car! This one is navy blue to go w/ the interior of the '92 EURO GTS! YEE HA!

Not sure if it really shows in the pics, but the crest is 3D and SUPER COOL! Also the back side (or side you seen when driving down the road looking in the mirror) is blue suede like the lining in the center armrest!

Afshin, my '88 had a ripped up luggage cover and I checked the price in '97 (because I couldn't believe what the previous owner told me the cover cost, but she was right) it was $995 or something crazy like that back then!!!

Hey Afshin,

I do try. Unless a specific design is requested, a rarely make 2 pieces exactly the same (well, 2 of a set will hopefully be the same ), both in an effort to improve the piece and also to keep my own excitement level peaked.

Again, thank you all,

Paul

GlennD - sorry I screwed up my first reply - I have an 83 that is ruby red metallic with what appears to be your exact color interior. I have been in contact with Paul about doing some of my interior and I'm concerned about the leather color match (Paul I see your replies here also). The luggage cover is nice but it does not look like a good match for that color burgundy. My research has turned up that the only Porsche burgundy known in the commercial leather business as #968, which I had a local shop do my rear storage box in and it does not match. My dash and glove box are in bad condition and I really hope Paul can match that "rose" shade of burgundy leather.

Ben,

burgundy, like many other colors doesn't always photograph well. And you have to take into account that a 25+ year interior will have changed a bit and the surface will have developed a patina and a shine that is hard to match.

I do color matching in house and can match your color exactly.

GlennD, I love how Champagne's cover looks in your car. Paul's cover will be the cherry on top if I ever finish my car.
