I always wonder in cases like this: is it really too much freeken trouble for this guy to go to the dealer, get a key made, put in a battery, and sell it as a running car? Is something else wrong or is the guy just an ***?

I am guessing you are right on both points.....I would suspect a lot is wrong with the car.....
