I remember someone PC the block a silver color.
I hope it was for display as the oil cooler line fitting holes were also coated

Duck, I kind of like the idea of powder coating all of it. On the other hand, the block and head castings are really beautiful when cleaned up with bead blasting or maybe soda blasting or even jusat good thorough cleaning.

However, if you are **** like me, you can use good high temp masking tape and tape off the important surfaces and have it powder coated and it will look just fantastic, especially before you put it back in the car. However, from underneath or wherever else you can see it it will be beautiful unless you paint it some god awful color.

I think I might do one of my projects like that when I get to that point.

Good idea!!

ABSOLUTELY!

The block when clean has this gorgeous gloss finish on it

Its actually one reason i would be hesitant to ever bore an engine out and nikasil it because you would loose this really nice finish from the factory.

Absolute waste of resources if you ask me

Tony PC'd a block, but it was already trashed. It was for display only.

Personally, I wouldn't bother witht he block or heads. Cam covers, intake, water bridge, thermostat elbow would be fine.

If you do plan on having every surface milled, and the block line bored.
