One thing to keep in mind on these parts cars is "get a title with it" or don't buy it! The old "lost title" "you can get a replacement, no problem" is a raft of you know what.....no title? Yes, in some states it may be possible, BUT, be prepared to do a lot of paper work, be prepared to wait a long time, be prepared to have your honesty, integrity, and parentage questioned, and finally be prepared to spend a bunch of money, possibly more than you paid for the hulk. And be prepared to pay sales tax on whatever amount your license branch says the value of the 928 should be, not what you actually paid.
Also, be aware that you cannot scrap a vehicle anymore in many states without a title…..
Don’t ask me how I know all this……

Good point about the title ! even if you intend to just take out the engine. If you happen to get stopped for any reason trailering a car and the officer asks about the car....you really do not want to tell him that no you do not have a title or real proof of ownership just a bill of sale written on a napkin...And yes you need a title to junk a car although the scavengers will cut them in pieces and recyle pieces over time. The requirement for title is to stop people from just dragging YOUR car to the junkyard to get $100.
