I have only found a few cars with a 13mm bolt holding the strap this is usually due to the wingnut being lost or corroded

There was n extended discussion on bolts vs. wing-nuts a while back. Consensus was that bolts started sometime around early S4 production. After experiencing my first 928 ground strap wing-nut on the James M '85 Euro, I'm convinced the factory made the right move when they upgraded to the 8mm bolts (with 13mm hex heads). The wrench for the bolt is in the tool panel located conveniently just forward of the aforementioned bolt.
